Air Plants

Tillandsia Aerophytes, more commonly known as air plants, is a type of Bromeliad that only requires water, air, and sunlight to survive. Use them for decor, miniature gardening, or even bouquets. Tillandsia do not need soil because water and nutrients are absorbed through their leaves.

Air Plants can be used as house plants receiving indirect sunlight, or even bright incandescent desk lighting. Place them in a glass globe to hang for a modern addition to a room, or within an open terrarium on an open shelf. They can be wired, lightly hot-glued, or strung to mounts. Air Plants also make great additions to a miniature or fairy garden for the summer and then can be brought into the house for the winter. Simply mist or soak them once a week.
